    • To determine, delineate, and promote the geographical area known as “Main Street Pendleton,” roughly encompassing the area within the limits of the Town of Pendleton, Indiana, that includes the area zoned for downtown business and the contiguous Falls Park property within the geographical area defined as the Main Street Pendleton District.

    • To encourage building and business owners and lessees within and outside those delineated areas to participate in the activities and opportunities occurring under the Main Street Pendleton moniker while promoting the defined area.

    • To be a local resource for owners and lessees and to assist in directing those individuals to the appropriate agencies to maintain and preserve their structures and property.

    • To help the Town of Pendleton in maintaining and improving the town's Main Street Pendleton area, including sponsoring beautification projects; coordinating the design of other community projects for integration into the town's overall master plan; providing or acquiring funds for special projects relating to downtown renovation, preservation, and improvement; encouraging involvement from residents and visitors to promote a vibrant and progressive Main Street Pendleton area that will attract new residents, visitors and businesses; these efforts help lessen the burden of the town government.
